Digital Surrogates: LiDAR, Photogrammetry, and RTI

This collection showcases a range of projects completed both independently and in academic group settings, utilizing LiDAR, photogrammetry, and Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) to create digital surrogates of entire interiors, exteriors, or focused areas of historic sites. These digital models support documentation, conservation-related research, and interpretive efforts. Examples include generating orthomosaics as more accurate, scaled alternatives to measured drawings for condition assessments, and using RTI and infrared photography to reveal subtle, less-visible details historic graffiti.
